Spring is finally here!! The flowers are beginning to bloom, the weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer and our neighbors are outside enjoying the afternoons here in beautiful Myrtle Beach. Here are some great upcoming events along the Grand Strand for April 2019.
April 4th-7th, 2019 – 2019 Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam
Check out the second annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam on April 5-7, 2019, at the former Myrtle Beach Square Mall site in downtown Myrtle Beach! Jeep enthusiasts will flock to this inaugural event which will feature 50+ vendors, kids’ activities, raffles, obstacle course and much more! Event hours are subject to change.

April 13, 2019 – 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival 2019
Celebrate the good and bright things in life at the 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival. We invite family, friends, and individuals to experience a magical night as we light the water with thousands of floating water lanterns. Prices vary with different packages and lanterns may be purchased at the event. Children ages 9 and below can attend the event free, but must still register.

April 19, 2018 – Horry County Fair
The Horry County Fair will be held at the Myrtle Beach Speedway April 19 – 28, 2019! Come celebrate the 4th year of the Horry County Fair located at Myrtle Beach Speedway. The Horry County Fair is even bigger and better! The Horry County Fair is the biggest and best carnival and fair in Myrtle Beach, SC. The fair offers some of the best fair food, the biggest fair rides, local and live Myrtle Beach entertainment, NASCAR Racing Experience, a FREE NASCAR race, Myrtle Beach Drifting, Fair Games, Character meet and greets with Chase, Marshal and Olaf, Kiddie Fair Rides, Petting Zoo, Racing Pigs, Music, Exhibits and MORE. Find 10 days of Fair fun at the Myrtle Beach Speedway Horry County Fair.
The 4th Annual Horry County Fair is located at Myrtle Beach Speedway on hiway 501 beside Tanger Outlet Mall. This Myrtle Beach Fair is just a few minutes from the beach and is offering daily specials. In site parking for the fair is FREE.
Daily admission is $5; $3 for seniors and military (ID required). Kids ages 4 and younger get in free. Parking is free.

April 26th-28th, 2019 – Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival
Enjoy three days of food and fun at the third annual Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival. Food truck vendors will serve a variety of great food, and the event will include children’s activities, vendors and a beer garden. The festival will be free to attend and in addition to a variety of food trucks, food vendors and restaurants onsite, attendees will enjoy kid-friendly activities, live entertainment, two beer stations, and corn hole tournament hosted by Coastal Tailgating on Saturday. You will simply purchase food directly from the participating vendors. There are no tickets to purchase.
The festival will take place at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, located between 8th and 9th Avenues North in Myrtle Beach, SC. (former Myrtle Beach Pavilion grounds). Some of our favorite food trucks around town are: Kurbside Katering, Royz Nutz and Buttz and Mister Softee of Myrtle Beach.
Enjoy a great lineup of entertainment playing throughout the festival! Bring a lawn chair and come dance to some awesome beach tunes on the main stage! live music by Sweet Sweet, The Bounty Hunters, Paul Grimshaw Band, Oracle Blue and Tru Sol. No coolers allowed.

This year’s Food Truck Festival is a three day event:
Friday, April 26th from 6-10 p.m.
Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and
Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The entire event will be hosted at the site of the former Myrtle Beach Pavilion between 8th and 9th Avenues North.
